Nevertheless, it is generally autumn months from September to November are seen to be the prime time to visit Kathmandu.This is the time when the weather is actually mild, with clear blue skies and perfect temperature, making it ideal for sightseeing and outdoor activities. Plus, the biggest festival of the country lies within this time of the year called “Dashain and Tihar”. Both festivals are observed with immense joy and eagerness across Nepal; particularly in Kathmandu, where you can witness the festivities firsthand.

Secondly, another good time to visit is during the spring months of March to May, when the weather is  pleasant, and the city is in full bloom with rhododendrons and other flowers.
