Today, you will enter the Himalayan kingdom, Nepal. Our representative will pick you up from the Airport Terminal and transfer you to the hotel. In the hotel, we will introduce you to your guides and they will give you a short briefing about your tour. After that, you can rest in the hotel for some time and stroll around the city in Kathmandu in the evening. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu
Today we will spend the rest of our day exploring the UNESCO listed heritage sites in Kathmandu. Early morning after breakfast, we will drive to Pashupatinath, A holy temple for Hinduism. Located at a bank of the Bagmati river, it is 5km northeast of Kathmandu. It is a sacred place for Hinduism where Lord Shiva is worshipped.
However, Non-Hindus are not allowed inside the temple but one can view the temple by the nearby spot. From Pashupatinath, we will drive to Boudha which is 1.7km from Pashupatinath. You will visit the Boudhanath stupa which is 36m high with mandala style. You will find that the surrounding environment of Boudhanath is similar to that of Tibet because of which it is also known as “Little Tibet”.
From Boudhanath, we will drive to another Buddhist pilgrimage site Swyambhunath. This temple is considered the oldest temple in Kathmandu which is about 2500 years old. Swyambhunath is at the top of the hill from where one can get the perfect view of the entire Kathmandu valley.
From there, we will once again drive back to Kathmandu and stop at Kathmandu Durbar Square. It is a place where you can find the old history as well as ancient Nepali culture. You can explore the ancient palace, Hanuman Dhoka in Kathmandu Durbar Square. From there, we will drive back to the Hotel in Kathmandu.
Our Adventure starts from here onwards. Today we will have an exciting adventure of Mountain flights to the world’s highest peak, Mt. Everest. It is a perfect adventure for those who want to experience the Himalayas of Nepal. We will start a very early flight to the mountain and the flight will last for 50min to an hour.
Within an hour we will enjoy the majestic view of the snow-capped peaks. Besides Everest, one can get a glimpse of other peaks as well. After a close encounter with the Himalayas of Nepal, we will have breakfast and utilize our remaining time exploring the heritage site in Patan and Bhaktapur. We will first drive to Bhaktapur.
We will visit Bhaktapur Durbar square which is a Royal palace of the old Bhaktapur Kingdom. Apart from the palace, we will explore several other ancient cultural sites in Bhaktapur and drive to Patan. In Patan, we will visit Patan Durbar square which is also a Royal Palace in the ancient kingdom.
The palace in Kingdom displays the ancient Newari Art and architecture preserved during the Malla Regime. Finally, we will drive back to the Hotel in Kathmandu. You can either rest or enjoy the nightlife of Kathmandu city.
Today, another thrilling yet the most exciting adventure of river rafting awaits you. Early at 6:45 in the morning, we will drive from Kathmandu to Charaudi, the put-in-point for the river rafting. The distance from Kathmandu to Charaudi is 83.5 km which is about a 2 to 3-hour drive including the stops.
The crew will then prepare for the raft, after that, you will change and head towards the river. The guide will give you instructions on safety methods and teach you to paddle. Finally, you will start your rafting and after nearly two hours of rafting, you will encounter a beach with strangely shaped boulders where you will have your lunch. After lunch, you will continue to raft down the river to the Trishuli George.
Naturally, the rapids are more ferocious and more frequent here. The rafting trip ends at 3 pm. From there, we will drive to Chitwan which is approximately 2 hours long. Overnight at a hotel in Chitwan.
Another full day adventure into the Jungle of the Chitwan is what one should experience in a lifetime. Early morning gathers the energy for the whole day adventure in the Chitwan National Park. The very first thing we will do in Chitwan National Park is Bird watching.
As there are around 450 species of birds with an exceptional range of flora and fauna preserved in the Chitwan National park. After that, you will walk down a river to spot sights of fishes or crocodiles. You can take a walk in the forest if you are really into wildlife and the natural environment.
Apart from this, another must not miss activities in the national park is Jungle safari. There are two options for the safari either by Elephant ride or by Jeep riding. Either way, you will spot some fine pictures of the wildlife and surrounding. You will spot some endangered species such as Bengal Tiger, One-horned Rhino, marsh crocodile, wild boar, etc. Besides, you will get a chance to explore Tharu culture.
In the evening, the locals will entertain you with cultural performances as their gratitude. Overnight a hotel in Chitwan.
Today we will bid farewell to Chitwan. Early morning after breakfast we will drive back to Kathmandu. The distance between Kathmandu and Chitwan is 175 km which is approximately 5-6 hours of drive. You will drive on a Prithvi Highway from Narayanghat to Naubise and from There you will drive on a Tribhuvan Highway to Kathmandu.
However, your journey will be filled with the scenario of natural landscapes and the drive will be at the bank of the river which adds extra refreshment to your journey. Upon reaching Kathmandu, you can either rest or stroll around the city in Kathmandu. Overnight at the hotel in Kathmandu.
After a week in Nepal, you will bid farewell to the country. Early morning depending upon your flight time, you can either for shopping or prepare for your departure. Our representative will soon pick you up from the designated place and transfer you to the airport to board on flight for your onward destination.
