After flying over the peaks of the Himalayas, you will land at Tribhuvan International Airport. Upon arrival, our Airport representative will pick you up from the Airport and transfer you to the hotel in Kathmandu. After checking in to the hotel and freshening up, our tour guide will give you a briefing about the Nepal Tour.
Enjoy you free time, you can either rest in the hotel or explore Kathmandu. Overnight rest in the hotel.
The Nepal Tour starts with the thrilling Mountain Flight, where you will witness Mount Everest along with other stunning Himalayan ranges. Viewing Mount Everest is once in a lifetime opportunity. Besides that, the flight also offers a glimpse of the Tibetan plateau far behind. After an hour of flight to Mt.Everest, return back to the hotel and get ready for the whole day exploring Kathmandu Valley.
Today, sightseeing will begin in the UNESCO-listed world heritage sites around Kathmandu Valley, which include Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Kathmandu Durbar Square.
Our first stop is the Pashupatinath Temple, located at the bank of the holy Bagmati River. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It was built in the pagoda style and is believed to have been built in the 5th century. Many visitors around the world come here to offer their prayers to Pashupatinath.
Only Hindus are allowed inside the temple premises; however, other visitors can explore the temple from a respectful distance.
After exploring Pashupatinath temple, we will drive to Boudhanath Stupa, which takes around 10 minutes from Pashupatinath. Boudhanath is a sacred site for Buddhists, and this place is highly influenced by Tibetan culture and thus is popular as “A Little Tibet.” Enjoy a stroll around the stupa, where you can witness monks offering prayers with mantra chantings. You can explore the rooftop cafe in Boudhanath and shop in handicraft shops around the stupa premises.
Shyambhunath, also known as the Monkey Temple, is another popular destination in Kathmandu Valley. From the top of Shyambhunath, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the valley. The stupa is 2500 years old and has a unique feature: Buddha’s eyes and eyebrows painted on it.
Our last stop is Kathmandu Durbar Square, which lies in the heart of Kathmandu. The Durbar Square is rich in art and architecture, ancient temples, and monuments. You can stroll around Durbar Square and visit highlights like the Kathmandu Durbar Museum, Kumari Ghar, and the beautiful goddess Taleju Bhawani Temple.
Finally, we will return to the hotel after a whole day of city exploration.
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, and then you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Pokhara. Pokhara is another city in Nepal mainly popular for its lakes, sunrise views, caves, and views of the Himalayas.
The flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara takes about 30 minutes. From the flight, you can enjoy a view of the beautiful landscape and the Himalayas. After checking in to the hotel, we will start sightseeing around Pokhara. Starting with boating in Begnas Lake, we will then visit several caves in Pokhara, such as Gupteshwor Cave, Bat Cave, Mahendra Cave, and Birendra Cave.
After lunch, we will continue our exploration around the mesmerizing Devi’s Fall and then to Seti George. The evenings in Pokhara are lively and full of activities. You can enjoy live music, concerts, and cultural shows along the streets and lakeside. We’ll spend the night at a hotel in Pokhara.
One of the major highlights of the Nepal Tour is the sunrise view from Sarangkot. Early in the morning, we’ll drive to Sarangkot to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the Himalayan peaks. You can see stunning views of Mount Machhapuchhre, Annapurna, and Dhaulagiri. It’s a moment worth capturing. After spending a couple of hours there, we’ll drive back to the hotel for breakfast.
Later, we’ll visit the Peace Stupa, a beautiful white Buddhist stupa on a hilltop overlooking Annapurna and reflecting on Phewa Lake below. The stupa gives you a peaceful vibe.
Next, we’ll head down to Phewa Lake, another key attraction in Pokhara. The lake reflects the majestic Annapurna range and offers boating opportunities and a visit to the Tal Barahi Temple, located in the middle of the lake. In the evening, enjoy the lively lakeside atmosphere. We’ll stay overnight at a hotel in Pokhara.
Today, after enjoying two days in Pokhara, we will fly back to Kathmandu. We will try to take the earliest flight possible, which will give us enough time to explore new places around Kathmandu.
Our first stop will be Patan Durbar Square, located in the historic city of Patan, known for its stunning temples, ancient palaces, and rich cultural heritage. Afterward, we’ll head to Bhaktapur Durbar Square in Bhaktapur, where we’ll admire its exquisite architecture, traditional art, and beautiful courtyards that reflect the city’s medieval charm.
In the evening, we’ll enjoy a farewell dinner at a traditional Nepalese restaurant, where we can savor authentic local cuisine and perhaps enjoy some cultural performances. We’ll end the day by returning to our hotel in Kathmandu for an overnight stay.
Our short Nepal Tour ends here. Early in the morning, after breakfast, depending upon your flight time, you can either prepare for departure, go shopping, or do anything you are interested in. After that, our representative will pick you up and transfer you to the airport to board your flight.
