Day 1 : Arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu (1,345m)
After you arrive at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu,, our representative will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel. You will stay overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 2 : Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (850 meters), 200km: 6-7 hours.
The second day of our journey starts as we head towards Pokhara. We will drive to Pokhara, which will take 6 to 7 hours. Along the way, enjoy beautiful landscapes and scenic natural beauty. The distance from Kathmandu to Pokhara is around 200 kilometers. Upon reaching Pokhara, check in to the hotel and unwind.
Pokhara is also known as the city of lakes, where you can relax in your hotel or stroll around beautiful Phewa Lake and enjoy your evening. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3 : Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul, TikheDhunga (1495 meters)
After early morning breakfast in Pokhara, we will drive to Nayapul, which will take around 1 hour. Our trek will officially start at Nayapul, where we will head towards TikheDhunga, which is at an elevation of 1495 meters; the trek will take 4 hours. Along the way, you will pass through beautiful waterfalls, local villages, farmlands, and rice terraces. Today’s hike is just a warm-up for our journey and a relatively easy one. The hike offers plenty of opportunities to soak in the serene natural environment and prepare your body and mind for the upcoming challenges of the trek.
Upon reaching Tikhedhunga, you will have time to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings, gearing up for the next day’s journey deeper into the Annapurna region. Overnight at TikheDhunga.
Day 4 : Trek to Ghorepani (2850meters)
Today’s trek starts as we head to our destination, Ghorepani, which lies at an elevation of 2850 meters. The trekking trail gradually takes uphill; we will pass through a rhododendron and oak forest. Enjoy scenic beauty along the way. We will rest overnight at a local guest house.
Day 5 : Early Morning Hike up to Poonhill (3210 meters)
To view the sunrise and trek to Tadapani (2520 meters) -8 hours. We will start in the early morning today and hike up to Poonhill to witness the breathtaking sunrise view from Poohhill; it is one of the highlights of our ABC trek. After enjoying the sunrise view, we will return to the guest house for breakfast. Then, we will continue our journey to Tadapani, another stop for our trek, which is situated at an altitude of 2520 meters and takes around 8 hours.
The trek from Poon Hill to Tadapani involves walking through rhododendron forests, which are particularly stunning when in bloom and offers views of waterfalls and other natural scenery. The path might also provide occasional glimpses of wildlife, including birds and monkeys. Upon reaching Tadapani, we will spend the night at a local guest house. Here, we will also enjoy a Gurung cultural dance show, which is really refreshing and helps you get charged up for your journey ahead.
Day 6 : Trek to Chhomrong (2170 meters)
Continuing our journey to ABC, our next destination is Chhomrong. The trail will take you down to the Chhomrong River. Chhomrong is a famous overnight stop for trekkers. It lies at an elevation of 2170 meters. The trek takes around 5 hours from Tadapani to reach It.
Day 7 : Trek to Dovan (2630 meters)
From Chhomrong, the journey begins with an ascent. As you exit the village, you descend a series of stone steps down to the Chhomrong River, crossing it via a suspension bridge. After the river, the path climbs up a rocky trail through the village of Sinuwa. From Sinuwa, the trail continues, winding up and down, until you eventually reach Dovan.
Day 8 : Trek to Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC) (3820 meters)
Today is the eighth day of our 13-day ABC trek. We will trek to Machhapuchhre Base Camp today situated at an elevation of 3820 meters. The trek will take around 6 hours; Machhapuchhre Base Camp offers a stunning panoramic view of the mountains. We will spend overnight at the local guest house getting ready to reach our final destination, Annapurna Base Camp.
Day 9 : Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4130 meters) -2 hours.
From Machhapuchhre Base Camp, we will head toward Annapurna Base Camp. The trek is short today; it will just take 2 hours. This is the highest point of our trek, which is at an elevation of 4130 meters. Get ready to witness the most stunning mountains you’ll ever see, including the Annapurna Massif, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, Manaslu, Gangapurna, Tilicho Peak, Pisang Peak, and Paungda Danda, with elevations ranging from 6,000 to 8,000 meters.
It’s a day you might never forget, surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of these snow-capped peaks. Tonight, we’ll be staying at the Local Guest house in the Annapurna Base Camp.
Day 10 : Trek back to Dovan
Next day, we will trek back to Dovan from ABC, keeping everlasting, beautiful memories of the base camp. The trek takes around 5 hours. We will rest overnight at a local guest house in Dovan.
Day 11 : Trek to Jhinu Danda via Chhomrong
From Dovan, we will trek to Chhomrong. From Chhomrong, we will head towards Jhinu Dada, which is also one of the highlights of our ABC trek. Jhinu Danda is famous for its natural hot springs. You can take a bath at a natural, soothing hot spring to relax your muscles, enjoying the natural view while you relax.
Finally, we will be spending the night at a local guest house.
Day 12 : Trek to Nayapul -6 hours and drive back to Pokhara
Today will be our last day of trekking. We will do a 6-hour trek back to Nayapul, which takes around 6 hours. From Nayapul, we take a ride back to Pokhara. We will reach Pokhara within an hour. After reaching Pokhara, check into your hotel. You can explore Pokhara if you want to by visiting a local restaurant near the lakeside or just relaxing in your hotel.
Day 13 : Drive back to Kathmandu by a tourist bus
Next morning, we will drive back to Kathmandu via tourist bus, which will take 6 to 7 hours.
