Places to Visit during Langtang Tour Packages

  • Langtang Valley Trek: Langtang Valley Trek takes you through peaceful villages with terraced fields. It provides the best wide-angle views of peaks. 
  • Gosaikunda Lake Trek: The Gosaikunda Lake trek will take you to a sacred alpine lake. It is situated at an altitude of 4,380 meters. 
  • Tamang Heritage Trail: This cultural trek provides insights into the lifestyle, traditions, and architecture of the Tamang people. 
  • Kyanjin Gompa and Tserko Ri Trek: The trek to Kyanjin Gompa which is a monastery surrounded by mountains. It basically is a doorway to the higher altitudes of Langtang. A side trek to Tserko Ri (4,984 meters) gives trekkers beautiful wide views of Langtang Lirung, Langtang Ri, and other peaks.

Best Time to Visit in Langtang Tour Packages

The best time for visiting Langtang is in the spring season which generally starts in Nepal in the month of March till the month- May. Another good time is during the fall season which starts off from the month of September to November. The weather during these times of the year is usually clear. It is also sunny during these times making it nice and warm. Therefore, it is perfect for hiking and seeing the beautiful mountains without any obstructions. Spring is especially nice because there are lots of pretty flowers all around, and fall has cool weather and clear views of the snowy mountain tops.

Weather and Temperature in Langtang

  • Spring (March to May): Spring time’s temperatures range from 10°C to 20°C during the day. It will have cooler nights. This season is full of blooming flowers and great fresh greenery.
  • Summer (June to August): Summer time’s temperatures range from 15°C to 25°C. But it is also the monsoon season. Therefore, it brings in heavy rainfall and makes trails slippery and challenging.
  • Autumn (September to November): Daytime temperatures during the autumn season range from 10°C to 20°C, with cooler nights. This season therefore is great with clear skies and beautiful unobstructed views. This makes it best time for trekking.
  • Winter (December to February): Winter season’s temperature can drop below freezing during winter times, especially at higher altitudes. Daytime temperatures range from -5°C to 10°C. Snowfall is common. Thus, it makes some places difficult to navigate.
